Eyelash extensions may last from two weeks to two months, depending on the cycle of hair growth. As hair grows out, it cycles and falls out naturally, thus shedding the extension with it. Only licensed estheticians may legally do eyelash extensions. In some States, cosmetologists may be allowed by law to perform eyelash extensions.
